Living in LA amongst not only the pandemic but the protests and riots along with the political unrest and uncertainty, Singer, Remi Nicole, pregnant with their second child and Photographer husband Guy Lowndes needed an escape. As an adventurous family, who love to travel, they decided, whilst locked down, to scroll through Guys hard drive and print and frame some of their favourite images from their recent travels to hang on their walls for some escapism and calm. Simultaneously, Guy was receiving so many requests from friends for artwork, all looking for the same thing, happier walls during such a trying time.
The response to the images was so great that Remi and Guy thought that this could be an amazing opportunity to spread the happiness further.
And so The Happiness Collective was born.
"Collective because we believe as humans, we can collectively contribute to each other's happiness"
